Clients come to me for many reasons, and the list below is not exhaustive but provides examples of how I can help you to improve your performance and sustain a healthy and happy life through all life stages, build resilience, stay mentally strong and age well. Finding a healthy work-life balance is vital for high achievers to ensure healthy longevity.

The way you show up at work every day, your attitude, mentality and demeanour is critical. The way you communicate with others, both verbally and non-verbally can set the tone for performance, both for you and those around you. Are you being the motivator, the initiator, the driver of creative thought, or are you the negative influence, the stressor, and the spirit dampener? Have you taken the time to understand your team and their potential, or you own? Whether you are on the way up the ladder, or already at the top, if you are not getting your points across in an effective way, no matter how brilliant your ideas, they will not be heard. Learning to understand and support your team, find their strengths and communicate effectively with them will significantly improve your leadership skills.

In a demanding career, we are expected to show up every day ready for anything and able to cope with all the challenges put before us. We are sometimes asked to do tasks in which we are not naturally confident, such as public speaking. Anxiety levels can increase dramatically. Putting on a mask every day is exhausting. A lack of confidence and low self-belief can stem from long-held limiting beliefs, or from continually comparing ourselves to others, or from simply not fuelling our gut brain connection sufficiently to provide our brains with enough vital chemicals to feel and perform at our best. Working through these issues to put you into a growth mindset will ensure you can step out of your comfort zone with confidence.

Stress can have a significant impact on your health and performance. Stress causes inflammation and damages our bodies at cellular level. Left unchecked it can lead to burnout, or lifestyle diseases, and also cause us to make poor decisions, or to find coping mechanisms which further damage our health and ability to perform well. Leadership from a stressed mental perspective will not bring success.
Finding effective stress management techniques to help you manage stress and improve your overall quality of life, as well as creating boundaries and finding the voice your need to say "no" when the pressure gets too much are valuable tools I can help with.

Staying mentally strong and controlling our emotions are powerful skills for leaders, and recognising the emotional needs of others is key to better teanwork.
Your mind plays a crucial role in your overall well-being and performance. When we are not nourishing ourselves properly, the body does not have the tools it needs to produce the correct chemicals to ensure that our mind and emotions are healthy, with low mood, anxiety, or anger becoming the norm, affecting our work, lives and relationships. Using the gut-brain connection and stress management techniques, as well as recognising trigger points when your emotions take over will help you to stay in control.

Whether you want to improve your relationships at work, develop your networking skills and find ways where you flourish in creating and maintaining connections, or find like-minded friends or a new partner, I can work with you to find ways which work for you to use your strengths, and develop courage to create healthy relationships of all kinds. I know only too well the strain which life places on relationships, and that good communication and setting boundaries are key, and have coached many clients in finding their voice to ensure their needs are met in all types of relationships.

Are you dragging yourself around, lacking the energy and enthusiasm you once had? Are you putting all your energy into work and finding there is none left for any joy, family time or fun? Does your rest come from slumping onto the sofa after a hard day, and there is no space for the seven types of rest which will fully replenish you? Perhaps your sleep is disturbed or you are simply not getting enough quality sleep, leaving you exhausted all the time. For better cognitive function, and more energy, it is really important to regulate sleep in order to ensure dopamine levels are stable and uptake by the body is effective.

Food is both fuel and medicine. Eating the right nutrients in a way which utilises the gut-brain connection and balances your blood sugar is essential to maintaining a healthy, energised and well functioning body and a sharp mind. This does not need to be difficult, or limiting, and I have surprised many of my clients who have achieved success without feeling deprived, and who develop an entirely new relationship with food.
Eating is a need and a habit, and I can help to address your eating patterns to create new and sustainable habits with food you love, to ensure you stay on track. In a very short time, the benefits you see and feel will become your own motivation to continue.

Setting boundaries, saying no and managing clients expectations, or those of your team are essential skills. There are effective ways to do this, which will ensure you control your workload, effectively communicate and still come out smelling of roses. Knowing your own value and recognising that better performance requires limiting your workload will help, and I can work through methods of managing difficult conversations and taking control. Agreeing to every demand will not make you more effective, and over time leads to burnout and mistakes. The Art of Persuasion is exactly that, an Art.

Life as a high-achieving professional is busy and exhausting. Many of my clients claim that they have no time for themselves, no time to eat healthily or exercise, and no time to think about their future health or their approach to their goals. However, the problem is usually not time, it's energy, motivation and priorities. Working through these issues will enable you to make the time you need for the sake of your health, enhance your current performance, and build resilience for years to come, reducing the risk for lifestyle illnesses to take hold.

Putting on a mask every day to perform as you need to be can significantly impact your health and performance. Self-awareness, and knowing what makes you tick can ensure you follow a path and use your skills in the best way to succeed in a career you love. Whether that means tweaking your role, or taking a totally new direction, the world is your oyster and every day is a new start. Finding a purpose in life, whether career related or otherwise is the enduring existential question which few people allow themselves time to explore. Exercise and movement are essential for a healthy body and brain, but mean different things to everyone, and how we should move changes through life. Finding the thing which makes you motivated and happy, and reframing exercise as an opportunity to enjoy yourself, have some "me time" or spend quality time with friends or family can eliminate any limiting beliefs that exercise isn't for you.
Making time for fun is also essential to maintaining good mental and physical performance, but finding things you enjoy, and taking the first step is not always easy. I can support you to make the time for yourself and find joyful activities which bring the endorphins your body needs.

Being diagnosed with a condition does not mean you cannot achieve your professional ambitions. It is simply another challenge to face, head on. I know how easy it is to brush medical conditions under the carpet and ignore them, hoping they won't affect our performance.
